The MAINE STREET JAZZMEN are a dedicated team of experienced jazz
musicians, based in the North East of England, who aim to play an
entertaining brand of good time melodic jazz.
They have several local residencies, play local jazz clubs, and also the
occasional festival date, They also have a selection of CD’s for sale, and

The band play an exciting brand of dixieland jazz, drawing their influences not
only from the classic American jazz groups of the 1920’s, 30’s, and 40’s, but
also from the British bands of the 1950’s & 60’s . We look forward to hearing
